Men's Breakfast
This post is really for the new guys. A few tips.....
1 - Bacon, sausage, eggs, all are welcome and easy to prepare. Make sure you bring a skillet. Other guys will have extra but it doesn't hurt to be prepared. Some of us bring a slow cooker and put the ingredients in Saturday night. Then 8:00 am Sunday morning we're ready to go. No stress, no mess (especially if you bring the slow cooker liners)
2 - Remember, don't ask your wife or girlfriend for help! You know what I'm talkin' about.
3 - Grits. Yes! Cheese grits? Yes!
4 - Hash browns or potatoes that you cut up and prepare the day of the Men's Breakfast. Another one, seriously don't even think about it. I tried that my first Camparama and it was a nightmare. Unless your version of eating uncooked potatoes isn't a nightmare. Then enjoy!
5 - Dunkin Donuts. Forgetaboutit. I was very last minute this fall and ran over to Dunkin Donuts for a bunch of breakfast sandwiches. They have been my lunch for the past two weeks and I still have some left in the freezer. A friendly warning. Don't even think about it.
Just a few tips. We all love and enjoy the traditional Men's Breakfast. You will too!
