The Fall 2024  Camparama Has Been Confirmed!

Our Fall Camp-a-rama is scheduled from October 11 - 13, 2024.  Spring 2024 was a blast and everything worked out.  Perfect weather!  We are again back to normal Pre-Pandemic twice yearly events!

Camparama is an AA & Al-Anon camping retreat weekend open to the entire family! It is a weekend of open speaker meetings, discussion meetings, and fun activities for all ages! Camp-A-Rama is held twice a year, once in the spring and once in the fall, on Lake Lanier in Georgia. 

Camp-A-Rama started with a Friday night fish fry back in 1981. Since then, many a camper has made their way through torrential rains, blistering cold and sweltering heat, to enjoy the company of good friends.

Alcoholics Anonymous is a fellowship of men and women who share their experience, strength and hope with each other that they may solve their common problem and help others to recover from alcoholism.

• The only requirement for membership is a desire to stop drinking. There are no dues or fees for AA membership; we are self-supporting through our own contributions.

• AA is not allied with any sect, denomination, politics, organization or institution; does not wish to engage in any controversy; neither endorses nor opposes any causes. Our primary purpose is to stay sober and help other alcoholics to achieve sobriety.
